Michelle Williams - TAS
The debtor recently separated from her husband who also owned the business she was working for prior to the separation. She has taken on additional debt to allow her to find accommodation and to try to pay for family court expenses. She has found a casual job as a shop assistant which is barely enough to scrape by and continues to look for more gainful employment. Her goal is to reestablish herself enough to be able to pursue custody of her teenager daughter who lives with her ex due to the limitations of the debtor’s finances which have forced her into share accommodation. With mounting debt and increased living expenses trying to navigate the separation the debtor felt she was never going to see an end to her struggles.
