Tyrone Campbell – WA
I found myself in financial difficulty after leaving full-time employment to start my own business. In the early stages, income was minimal while I worked to build a client base, & things were extremely tight. During this period, I had to sell my car & could not afford to keep up with existing debt repayments, which resulted in several accounts falling behind & being sold to collectors. As the business developed, my income slowly improved, however it took time to reach a stable level. The financial strain during this period meant I was unable to reduce the debts, & interest & fees continued to add up. While my business is now at a point where I can cover my everyday living costs, there is not enough surplus income to manage all of the different debt repayments that have accumulated.
