International Student - $14,510.45
Over the past few years, I have faced a series of financial challenges that have made it increasingly difficult to manage my debts. Initially, I relied on credit to cover essential living expenses while repaying my student loan. At the time, I believed this would be a temporary measure until I could stabilize my income.Unfortunately, I experienced a period of unemployment that significantly impacted my financial situation. Despite actively seeking work, the lack of stable income forced me to rely further on credit to meet basic needs. Eventually, I had to relocate interstate in search of better job opportunities, which brought additional costs and disruption. Although I am now employed, the burden of accumulated debt continues to weigh heavily on me. I have made genuine efforts to budget and manage repayments, and even explored the possibility of consolidating my debts through a loan. However, these attempts were unsuccessful, and the stress of the situation has become overwhelming. I am committed to resolving my debts in a responsible and realistic way that aligns with my current income. Filing for bankruptcy is not a path I wish to take. After careful consideration, I believe a Part 9 debt agreement offers the best opportunity to regain control of my financial situation and move forward. I respectfully ask my creditors to consider this proposal. I am determined to meet the obligations outlined in the agreement and work toward a stable financial future. Note: Other household costs are support for debtors family abroad.
